Enjoy a terrifying Halloween in Benidorm.

The night of October the 31st, Halloween, a night that is increasingly becoming important in our country being common to see how our streets are decorated and the scares and the theme of terror reign.

In particular, Halloween in Benidorm offers endless activities and entertainment of all kinds, for all ages, so you can spend unforgettable days with friends and family.

What to do on Halloween in Benidorm with your family?

Theme Parks for everyone

As a first option, we will talk about the theme parks, which from October the 3rd to November the 1st will offer a hilarious and huge variety of shows, entertainment and activities if you want to spend this Halloween in family, and for all ages.

Mundomar

This park in Benidorm, Mundomar, specialised in marine and exotic animals is prepared to release its familiar Halloween.

Characters like witches, skeletons and ghosts will become regular in the park. It will also transformed itself to offer a real experience of terror wherever you go.

It will also offer several themed shows including: the mythical "Trick or Treat" or the new show "Blancaluna and the 7 parrots".

And as a special show for the next October the 31st, they will have "The Phantom of the Opera" in its extended version. A Halloween party in style, it will be represented in the dolphinarium with exercises conducted by the dolphins themselves and their coaches.

Terra Mitica

From October the 3rd, Terra Mitica with the slogan "You will shout like never before" was transformed for the occasion into a terrifying place where really sinister beings wander.

You'll encounter zombies, mummies, among others ... and scenes of terror, like a little enchanted forest, spooky cemeteries and a swarm of spiders, among many others.

The park will also offer a radical change in its shows. We will be able to enjoy more than a dozen shows, we highlight these ones in between them: "The Coven", "Amonet" or "The Infernal Cut."

And finally, on October the 31st, Halloween night par excellence ... the park will have many surprises prepared for us.

Exclusive shows, passages of terror, animation with the most gruesome characters, a themed dinner, definitely, everything necessary for families to enjoy an unforgettable Halloween.

Terra Natura

Terra Natura, does not forget Halloween, and, from October the 16th, it will offer all customers various activities such as magic tricks, passages of terror, makeup workshops, gymkhana and street animations.

The facilities will be transformed to give a special atmosphere in between animals and with a great themed horror tour with activities for all ages.

Furthermore, the park will offer great shows with animals as main characters, it will be ideal for families to enjoy.

What to do on Halloween with friends in Benidorm?

Zombie Edition in Benidorm

The resort Magic Natura will offer a very special weekend to the young people for Halloween in Benidorm, the Zombie Edition Reality Experience. A live role experience that undoubtedly will become the perfect opportunity for many to enjoy and to get into a true experience of terror.

The zombie invasion takes place at the complex from the 30th to the 31st of October. The event will feature the participation of more than 50 actors characterized for the show during the day, but by nightfall ... everything will change.

The invasion will give start to the live game, in which participants must overcome several tests through a gymkhana. Their main objective will be to prevent global apocalypse. They must flee, try to survive and help eliminate the undead. An event you cannot miss.

Clubs Benidorm

The nightclubs in Benidorm will offer a session in which you will not stop dancing, jumping, shouting and laughing until dawn with more than a dozen DJs.
One of the nightclubs will held a special tribute to the horror film REC and it will present a special macro decoration.

An alternative for those who prefer a night of Halloween in a place with commercial music, EDM, reggaeton, future house, electro house.

Benidorm campsites receive the Quality Label.

On October the 8th, the prize-giving "City of Benidorm" was held in the auditorium of the town hall of Benidorm, on the occasion of the World Tourism Day.

In the event, which also featured the presence and participation of the Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego, the companies that are already credited within the Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED) were awarded with their certificate, we remark specially the campsites in Benidorm, Villamar and Villasol.

What is SICTED?
SICTED certificate belongs to the huge project to improve quality of tourist destinations promoted by the General Secretariat of Tourism and the Spanish Federation of
Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).

It works with companies / tourist services of up to 29 different trades that influence the experience and satisfaction of tourists visiting the destination.

This project bases its system, among other tools, in the application of a manual of Good Practices, which vary depending on the trade.

Besides working groups develop proposals for improvements on destination and assessments for the “education" of the company or service to generate quality standards. These evaluations culminate in obtaining the distinctive for Tourist Quality Commitment.

Mª Carmen Sellés, Director of the Villasol and the Villamar campsites talks about her experience.

We have made some questions to Mª Carmen Sellés, Director of the Villasol and the Villamar campsites, to know first-hand what this whole project meant and its subsequent inclusion into the system of tourist quality for the campsites in Benidorm, Villamar and Villasol.

Mª Carmen, considering all that the SICTED huge project comprehends, what has meant to the campsites participating in the project?

"Given that the campsites are not attached to any quality system, this has been a great challenge and the truth is that it has been a great learning by the entire team that we are."

"Although we were following all the tourist legislation affecting us, the course involved a restructuring of all the documentation, as well as, the creation of a manual of good practices, improving our internal management, especially the processes related with customer satisfaction.”

Has there been any specific chapter that has had to get more attention?

"No, there has not been any noteworthy aspect. Although we do not formally have a quality management system in the campsites, we do practice a philosophy of continuous improvement. This management philosophy is transmitted through the constant improvement of our installations and services”

And finally, what is the importance of having this label for your campsites?

"Mainly, the importance of participating in the biggest quality tourism project developed in Spain along with thousands of companies."

"And, of course, the value of certifying our daily work, our commitment and the inclusion of a control of the Tourism Quality system which increases the competitiveness within the sector, and collaborate this way with the city of Benidorm in obtaining its own quality certificate."

Tips to choose a campsite for the Easter holidays

One of the favourite options for the Easter holidays is to spend some days camping, but, what guideline should we follow to choose the right campsite?

Easter holidays are one of the periods of the year that camping lovers prefer for camping. The weather around this time is normally quite nice, the days last longer and the previous holidays finished long time ago. It is the perfect time to get your tent or caravan out and spend some pleasant days with your family or friends in any place of our country.


Tips to choose a campsite
Type of campsite
The first thing you have to think of is what kind of holidays you wish to have.

If you want to find a campsite to enjoy the nature relaxation, the best place to go will be a camp in the mountains. There are loads of them in the main geographic areas like nature parks or reserves, etc. We can find an example of this kind of campsite in the High Pyrenees area where you can enjoy nature in its purest splendor.

If you wish to enjoy the mountain but also have an adrenaline injection then the best thing to do is to find a campsite with a large selection of adventure sports, even better if they offer ground and aquatic sports. We can find some examples of this type of campsite in the Picos de Europa Mountains.

On the other hand, if you prefer beach tourism, then the best option is to look for a campsite close to the coast. To be farsighted, just in case the weather is not as good as we expected, the best thing to do is to find a campsite that is as close to the beach as it is to a town. So, if the weather changes we can always plan some activities in town. You can find a perfect example of this kind of campsite in the wide offer that you have in camping in Benidorm.

Logically we will be looking for a camp that is close to what we are interest in.

Apart from that, as long as it is possible and it does not interfere in our holiday plans, it is convenient that the campsite is placed near a town.

It is even more important if it is a holiday with children. Being close to a town insures that we have access to some services that may be necessary in this case, such as medical emergencies, chemists, etc. and to some leisure activities such as cinemas, shopping centers, etc.

Another important characteristic is to make sure that the camping place has a good transport communication. It is better if it has a close access to a motorway or a main road and some good roads around so we will be able to visit all those interesting points that we have chosen in the area.

Types of accommodation
Nowadays, nearly all the campsites have a wide kind of accommodation. Although that we can classified them in plots, bungalows and mobile homes you can always choose into a big variety in any of them.

If we refer to plots, normally we classified them for their size and the kind of accommodation you can put in them: tents, caravans, motor homes, etc. Bungalows and mobile homes are classified by the model which depends on the material they are made of and the amount of people they can sleep in.


Quality and quantity on the basic facilities
Another important point to choose a campsite, apart from the kind of accommodation available, is its basic facilities. We have to consider the quantity but more importantly the quality.

It is advisable to view the camping plan so we can evaluate if it has enough communal facilities to give a good service in the case of being fully occupied. Check that there are enough toilet blocks, sinks, etc. and the size of them as well as if there is a laundry service. It is not only important to check on the amount of these facilities, we have to consider the state on them, check if they are well looked after, if they are clean daily and if they are fully equipped or they just have the basic.

In conclusion, to choose a good campsite to spend our Easter holidays is not difficult, but we have to consider some basic tips so we can assure we get the holidays we dream off.
