What does a good camper carries in his suitcase?

Finally the holidays have arrived. It's time to enjoy unforgettable days, to rest and have fun for the whole family. Even more, if the plan for the summer includes days of entertainment at a camping in Benidorm where you can stay surrounded by nature and good company.

The Villamar and Villasol campsites in Benidorm, offer the best facilities, and a solid experience, covering the needs of our visitors. That’s why we decided to make a list of tips on what to put in the suitcase as a good camper:

Toiletries: basic, of course. Gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush ... and a light towel! A good camper does not need much more, and limiting the amount of luggage, weight products will be significantly reduced.

Skin protection: cream with a good solar factor and a mosquito repellent are two key products in the life of a good camper. Without them there is a risk of suffering pecks or burns that can spoil idyllic days of fun.

Basic First Aid Kit: camping must continue with regular medication, if taken, but also should be included painkillers and anti-inflammatory, an antihistamine, iodine or hydrogen peroxide to disinfect and, of course, gauzes , bandages and medical tape.

Yes, it is important to note that medications should be stored in a cool place, if possible, closed and out of reach of children. It is also essential to always wear sunscreen and mosquito repellent, to avoid dangerous burns and nasty peck.

Technological devices: a mobile phone is, today, the form of contact with the world, along with a powerful camera of photos and videos to remember, a radio and a music storage system.

Therefore it is essential not to forget your charger at home. In addition, other devices are useful as GPS, iPad or electronic book.

For those not traveling with Smartphone should consider buying batteries for the radio, camera and, of course, for the flashlight. Another must is a compass, though ... you must know how to use it!

Documentation: before leaving trip is advisable to check the identity card, passport (if you go abroad) and the health card are in force, and to be included in the backpack when you go to camping.

A wallet with some credit card is safe, but in the countryside it is difficult to use, since many establishments still not allowed. It is therefore advisable to carry cash divided in different areas of luggage.

Clothing: what to pack is a function of what each one chooses, you cannot miss swimwear, outerwear (in the field it’s usually cool), comfortable walking shoes, flip-flops for the pool and showers, short and long pants and shirts that do not need ironing.

Also, to mark clothes can be a great idea, if it will be a laundry or hang them in a public area. One trick when packing is to put the clothes making "rolls" with it, since it will take up less space in your backpack and wrinkle less.

Accessories: sunglasses cannot be overlooked, and a hat to protect the head during excursions. In
addition, a sarong or large scarf is very useful because it can be used to improvise a shawl, a scarf, or a rudimentary tablecloth. In case it rains, it never hurts to include a raincoat or collapsible umbrella ... for summer storms!

Shoes: is the most uncomfortable thing to keep in a suitcase, because they never fit ... so our solution is easy, get a pair of shoes (as comfortable as possible), and flip-flops for the pool.

And to be most farsighted, a good camper always leaves a small space in your suitcase for possible purchases or souvenirs, because in the end, they’re always there.

With the suitcase made and everything prepared, there’s only to enjoy the wonderful stay at our campsites Villasol or Villamar, in the best company and also ... with everything you need!
